Esoteric Soul Healing encompasses two main forms of healing - Magnetic and Radiatory healing. In both forms of healing you learn first of all to feel energy within the body and the aura, how to connect with your own soul and your patients’ soul, and how to connect energetically to your patients in such a way so that you do not take on their disease. In Magnetic Healing you learn how to generate healing energy within the physical/etheric body and then to direct that energy down your arms and out through the palms of your hands and fingers. The hands are placed either above the body within the patient’s aura or directly on the body. In Radiatory Healing you learn to generate healing energy from your soul and to radiate that energy outwards through the aura. The radiatory stance evokes a response from the patient’s soul allowing their own soul energy to flow into their body helping to bring healing.

During the course we will explore the basic human energy system as described by Alice A Bailey in her Treatise on the Seven Rays, in which the Soul is recognised as an expression of our essential Life force. The Soul is always seeking to come into expression through our personality, which comprises our thoughts, feelings, emotions and physical/etheric bodies, which are conditioned through our experience and karma. The energies of the soul and personality anchor into the body via the seven major chakras. Whenever there is a disruption in the flow of energy from the soul into and out of the seven main chakras then disease is likely to occur. In Esoteric Soul Healing we work principally with the energies of the soul, of the chakras and the aura.

Intuition is seen as an important guide in the healing process and through practice and experience you will learn to listen to your intuition in the healing situation. As you work energetically with your patients you begin by following a set path of instructions on how to connect to the patient’s energy field. As the connection to your patients is deepened, you are guided by intuition as to your next steps in the healing process. You also learn to develop your natural psychic abilities which lie dormant within us all. You develop clairvoyance, clairaudience and direct perception, the ability to see, sense and feel where energy is moving or constricted within your own and your patients’ bodies.

As human beings we are all natural healers but it is an art which is undeveloped in our societies. This course will help you unlock your natural healing abilities, tapping into the hidden resources of the soul and the vastness of who you are energetically. On each weekend there are opportunities to practice healing with other students and between sessions students must complete practice healing sessions building up a set of case studies over the year. With this form of healing the best teacher is practice with as many people as possible. We learn through the experience of healing.

At the time that Alice Bailey wrote her many esoteric works on behalf of the master Djwhal Kuhl in the 1940s, the world was very different to how it is today. Alice wrote in a style which is dense and difficult for many to comprehend as she felt the secrets she was revealing could be used negatively by those with ill intent. Times have changed and many more people are ready to work with these teachings in a loving and compassionate way. Over the last 30 years Kathy has practised Esoteric Soul Healing with many individuals and communities. She has come to understand some of the basic principles of Alice’s teaching, bringing them out of the patriarchal, hierarchical context in which Alice wrote, into a more balanced, egalitarian world view. Kathy’s aim is to bring clarity, common sense and comprehension to the amorphous subject of Esoteric Soul Healing.

As well as learning to heal with your energy it is very important to recognise that you are always working with other people and need to learn how do this professionally. You need to create safe healing spaces where your patients can relax and open up to the energy experience you offer. You learn to listen to your patients, to be empathic with their suffering, and to have clear boundaries and a code of professional behaviour to which you always adhere. Students and teachers agree to abide by a Code of Ethics and Practice.
