This practical REVISION workshop will help you bring your completed draft manuscript to the stage where you can send it out to publishers. Following her successful one day workshop "How to Write a Book in 3 Months", Shah has responded to the call from many past students on what to do once you've written your first draft. So, whether or not you have attended Shah's previous workshop you will find plenty of tried and tested methods of "taking your draft to the next level!"
On this course you will learn:
- To evaluate your script and identify the premise and themes of your manuscript
- To create the best possible structure for your book
- To pick up inconsistencies in narrative and deal with 'forgotten' elements
- To create convincing characters
- To re-organise content: new material, changing the placing of text, rewriting for impact, change or additions
- To proof read and sharpen language
- To format to industry standards
