Labyrinths for Inspiration
A two day non-residential workshop in Glastonbury with
Chris Trwoga - Assisted by Penny Gould
This practical course explores how labyrinths can be constructed and utilised in a wide range of contexts which help promote emotional and spiritual well-being. Set in the beautiful grounds of the Glastonbury Abbey retreat house, this largely, outdoor-based course enables participants to acquire the skills of labyrinth use and construction and experience the benefits for themselves.
On this course you will:
- Study the cultural, spiritual & practical contexts of labyrinth use in history and in today's world.
- Explore the dynamics of labyrinth construction and use as a therapeutic tool for personal and community transformation.
- Learn how to construct a full-size, temporary and permanent labyrinths from a range of different materials.
- Explore the use of labyrinths in a range of professinoal therapeutic settings.
- Create a labyrinth related project for use in your own professional or personal content.
- Explore the practicalities of the safe use of labyrinths within different user groups.
