After the drum, the rattle is one of the oldest musical instruments and in early times was primarily used as a tool to reach ecstatic trance. It was also used to connect with spirit during ceremonies.

We will journey to connect with the creative energy of fire and find our own unique inspiration using visualisation.

How to set your intention before making your sacred/power object

Again, using visualisation techniques you will be guided through a simple ceremony to centre yourself and to focus on your intention before embarking on making your sacred object.

New Skills to make your sacred objects for personal & ceremonial use.

Allowing your intuition to guide you, Mark will show you how to make your sacred object using a variety of familiar craft techniques [ie: stiching] so you can skillfully make something that is not only functional but also beautiful and unique. Working with rawhide, beads, leather, chamois, feathers, driftwood.

To perform a simple ceremony to connect to the spirit of your sacred/power object.

At the end of the weekend, you will participate in a final ceremony using visualistion or journey skills to connect with the unique spirit of your sacred/power object.
