Nepali Shamanic Dance
An evening of Shamanic dance with
Bhola Nath Banstola
Prices are £30 /£25 conc and should be booked through the office.
Shamanic dance is the most important activity through which the Nepali shaman enters into an altered state of consciousness, and the world of non-ordinary reality. Through this activity, the shaman looks through his inner senses rather than the senses used in ordinary reality.
As the physical body dances, the soul ‘journeys’, which generates an enormous energy field that transcends time and space. Energetic healings happen through the help of animal spirits, spiritual guides and the spirits of nature. Shamanic dance heals the physical and spiritual body through movement. This movement helps to awaken the shaman inside each one of us.
Participants in the workshop will experience the following;
- Exploring who they are in the present moment
- Seeking a new perspective on challenging issues in their lives
- Requesting a healing for themselves or another
- Communicating with teachers and guides
- Concentrating on changes they would like to bring into their lives
- Meeting with a fear to discover the wisdom within or release the energy that it holds
